Make a smear campaign of our own, except, of course, we'll use truth, and expose these guys at a time when inherent ( and warranted) mistrust of banks and hedge funds and corruption is at an all time high in our life-times. Canada has been touted as the go-to destination to weather the financial storm because of the nature of our stable political system, and our rich resources that the entire world wants. With all this corruption, how are we supposed to attract global investors when our INTERNAL financial institutions will fleece you in a heartbeat?

Perhaps we could appeal to the Sheldons and Lassondes,et al, by telling them this could be their time to rise head and shoulders above their competition...stand up for Noront and be admired by ALL the investing community who are waiting for a golden opportunity to throw their hard-earned dollars at the feel-good, home-grown Canadian success story of this generation!!!

And knowing that if they were to back us, they would have a whole stable of investors who would gladly endorse their future endeavours, and be widely known as trustworthy....that goes a long way in the investing world. It gets media coverage in a time when every other biggie is painted in an unflattering light.
