Implications for a hostile "insincere" company moving in would be significant to the lesser plays.... and in a not very good way. Investors be aware.

This is without question a takeover, yet, what bothers me, is that it is being handled as simply an election of directors. Language is soft but the significance of it is sharp and profound.

I imagine that company X has waited until such time as no additional shares could bought and voted with, otherwise it would be an opportunity to go shopping for voting shares.
