Just noticed this now as I haven't wanted to see my portfolio in a couple of weeks.

NEW! Temporary Ban on Short Selling of CANADIAN Financial Stocks
The OSC has announced that they are temporarily prohibiting any person from effecting a short sale in the publicly traded securities of certain CANADIAN financial entities. According to the Emergency Order, "all persons are prohibited from short selling any publicly traded securities" of certain financial firms.
