E.U. Governments Guaranteeing Bank Deposits

Day to Day, October 6, 2008 · Share prices dropped on the European markets in response to the widening banking and financial crisis Monday. A number of European governments have moved to guarantee bank deposits, following a trend set by Ireland last week.

Not sure what this will do to your "flight to perceived safety. US Dollar" . Sure wish the Canadian government would get off their butt and get real about deposit insurance or I may have to head over to the 'Emerald Isle' with a couple of suitcases .

Their beer's good too.

Stiil can't figue out where the money will come from to make good on all these global guarantees................ maybe China ??.
