Some Help Please...

Could someone please tell me how to post a picture. I have something interesting i would like to post but i need to post it with some charts to show what i'm trying to say. When i click the insert/edit image buttom, i only have the option to enter a url but not an image from my hard drive. I'm actually very computer literate, but this one is throwing me for a loop.
