Hey Junior, I can appreciate your concerns, believe me. But I have not thought for a second, that I would get burned on NOT. The company has a proven resource, with much more on the way. There is enough money in NOT's bank, plus hauling out WF gold, to keep drilling close to a year or more.
And most importantly, Richard Nemis. You are right, he is the best promoter for NOT. And he should be. He's the guy at the top, that's been there for many years, seen the good & the bad and knows the biz extremely well.
I wish RN was doing more promotion. The excitement in his voice is real. It means a lot to shareholders and potential ones. But I begrudgingly realized that NOT had to adapt to a new situation. A much larger project that needed a different approach. And hey, I'm not saying I like it. I don't and in fact, I'm still waiting to see what JPM will eventually do for NOT. So far, it doesn't seem to be much, but as was posted many times, they have been hired by a major to possibly help negotiate a buyout, if I'm not mistaken.
And so, IBK becomes the amoeba under the microscope. They did a lot back in 2007, when NOT found Eagle One. But it's one of those, "What have you done for me lately" things with them, IMO.
Still, I am resolved in my decision about NOT and the ROF. I will continue to buy as I can, at these prices. I recommended this stock to a number of friends a year ago, at $1.64. And I would do it again, if they asked.
Now, the wife thing. That is another story altogether. My wife jsut looks at me with a blank stare now (lol), when I tell her the SP of the day. I keep her well informed (to a fault, lol) and although she's not crazy about the fact that I'm still buying (what do ya mean, 'food money' ? We ate last week !), she's comfortable in the knowledge that we both have about the company and the man who runs it, RN.
