regaining perspective on recent events. There is nothing really new to say but there is a whole world of more appropriate perspectives to replace some of the ineffectual ones we may have been expressing. If one is to criticize NOT, and they certainly aren't perfect, then you have to criticize every other management of every other company that has allowed their sp to drop. Wow, that means there are a lot of B.O.D.'s etc that need their hands slapped. How dare they all fall prey to the economic fallout. I really only have one major complaint, and that is with myself, for not being able to judge the best times to get in and out, for those who choose to trade as opposed to or in addition to investing. Those that choose to "invest" certainly have concerns over the market in general, but less so with the quality of the NOT company, so there should be less expressed by these types as they are in for the longer term. Those that are constantly expressing on a day to day most certainly will be playing the market at least as swing traders, looking to optimize investment, otherwise, why the squawking. If one believes that this would be a bad time for a buyout, then it is easy to see that the management isn't interested in dangling bait in front of the big fish. You might want them swimming around, but you want to take that fish only when you've got a big and safe enough boat to bring it in.... we're hoping for whales here. I don't think the big effort to advertise has been applied and I suspect that, in light of all the talent we have that could achieve that end, either they are incompetent, unscrupulous or very saavy, knowing exactly what they need to do make things happen at the right time. For your perspective, all you have to do is to decide which one of the aforementioned you support. Perhaps it's not all black and white either.
