Back in the Rome days ages ago when they used Gold for legal tender anyone caught scrapeing some gold off the coins got the death penalty.

With all the chaos regarding the financial and equity markets ,surely it wont have to be as severe,but it is serious and the consequences should be serious as well for outright malice.
