My confidence in investing has been shaken. When the price of gold and silver disintegrate when
1) There are wars and rumors of nuclear options
2) Supplies are limited and or not available for coins and bars
3) Mines are producing less annually
4) Fiat money seems to be in jeapordy
And the US dollar is rising when
1) The balance of payments keeps increasing at over 60 billion /month
2) The US deficit has more zeros than I can count
3) Tax revenue is declining for all levels of government
4) The US balance sheet has taken a hit with all the bail outs we have guaranteed
I am 66 years old and retired. My net worth has decreased by about 60% as I am still bullish on precious metals, mining stocks and the Ring of Fire. I have not really considered selling. I have enough cash to live about 18 months before I have to start selling my investments for living expenses. I am very concerned but still holding out for the eventual buyout. I have definitely lowered my standard of living.

PS I will not be coming to the AGM to conserve cash unless the stock somehow goes back to $4.00 by then.
