Two things have become very hard lately: Looking at the dollar value of my portfolio (as my number of shares has not changed) and reading some members of this board complain.

In scenarios like this, people are tempted to turn everything off and go away. They bury their head in the sand and hope everything gets better. Others, sell in moments like this in despair thinking Noront must be going bankcrupt as the market "is always right".

My opinion is that people that bury their heads in the sand have it half right. You do not want to sell right now. However, they are missing the best possible investment in these dire times. We have all heard it over and over: When their is blood on Bay (Wall) Street, it is time to buy. Well the Commodity financial world is hemorrhaging big time!!! So you should BUY NORONT!!! This is very easy to say, much harder to do...Unless your DD is rock solid you will be nervous, will want to sell and the last thing on your mind would be buying more of these shares that have gone down in a straight line since you bought them. However, for those who are here on a daily basis and have done their due diligence, you know that :

Current market cap at $1.80 is $234M

Cash in the bank: 40M

So for $194M you can buy:

2.1B worth of ultra high grade, open pit extraction Nickel, Cu, Pd, Pt, Ag, Au

30-45B worth of ultra high grade, high tonnage Chromium

2B worth of gold at Windfall (OK, this is a big guess but go with it)

The best management a retail shareholder could ever want

Enough money in the kitty to get thru the next 8 months

25k tons of bulk sampling gold primarily from the 4.8m of 52oz per ton area 100. This as I learned tonite will not even be taxed as we get our first 100k tons free of taxes. So this will inject some serious money (10-20M) in our coffers.

12 JV working for us, potentially finding great deposits where they will surrender 50% of it to us just for having been the first to stake that land.

Oh and a few other properties in NB, Mexico and China thrown in for kicks.

Seriously, there is a lot of distraction right now that prevent us from seeing the best investment in a generation. The US has found a way to turn the world upside down. Smoke and mirrors ave very powerful when you have some of the smartest people behind them. However, when I read thing like:

Unnamed bankers and executives at other financial companies say Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. has been searching high and low for a potential buyer for all or part of the battered 158-year-old firm

I know that the US is in dire straights. Continuous, huge trade deficits confirms that even broke, even mortaged over their heads, the US continues to consume more than they can afford. This will lead to a huge fall off the cliff...

But these are nothing but distractions people. Necessary parts to understand why we are where we are with our share price but still has nothing to do with the Phenomenal fundamentals or our great company.

Noront is being offered at a valuation that would make any shopper go: Something must be wrong with that product, that price just does not make sense. So, skeptical as most, you sit on your hands, trying not to sell when you should be buying!!!

The world is not going to dissapear tomorrow. World recession or not, we will continue to consume. Gold will rise in value once the smoke has cleared and the mirror has cracked. So it is time to forget about all the distraction that the world is throwing at you.
