While I do not like the direction of the SP action prior to the halt I ask myself this question? Was volume signficant enought to support a bad news leak and it does not appear at first glance to be so. I also ask myself the fact that we had total carnage on all the exchanges and could market sentiment be responsible for the drop not only in FNC but all area plays. Well, I don't really know, but we also do not know the reverse as well and will have to wait until the NR is out expected tomorrow.
Also, it does appear to be related to C1 which is 600 meters from DE1 which has high grade Ni (infact some of the highest in history) and it could be related to same; wouldn't that be exciting if Ni is the news. However, we are only guessing as to the reasons why Mr. Smith chose to halt, which in its self is quite exciting and at the same time nerve racking, as the area is in need of much needed positive news.
Lets hope todays negative SP action was nothing more then funds selling to pay for redemptions and related to negative overall sentiment in the markets and nothing more. Tomorrow will provide us our answers and lets hope for great news...
Well, FNC was halted at a time when its share price was falling. Doesn't this suggest a halt because of a news leak? The direction of the price at the time suggests the type of news that was leaked
