Your theory I'm afraid I don't buy since those same shorters have to eventually get in and buy. There just aren't that many weak hands left willing to let go at anywhere near these levels.

Can you just imagine a major coming in and trying to accumulate 10 million shares in the open market? That wouldn't trigger shareholder protection plan either. Maybe they'd get a few million at under $4 but won't get my shares and I seriously doubt they'd get yours.

If most of us aren't willing to look at offers under $10 that could be one more indication of an 'oversold' condition existing.
