Thanks, that does help illuminate things, so to speak. It's not as though the chromite acts a shield, then, as lead does to an x-ray.

I gather, from your post, then, that the chromite is no more inhibitive to exploration than barren rock with the upside of it having a heckuva lot more value than barren rock.
