Fly to the James Bay Lowlands and McFaulds Lake using Google Earth.

Down load Google earth here ( Free) from the Google website if you don’t have it previously installed click on the link to Google below:

http://earth.google.com/

If you have Google Earth installed, Go straight to the Noront Discovery by clicking the link below:

Fly to McFaulds Lake Noront Discovery Eagle One - click here - Google Earth.kmz

Enlarge or decrease scale of map with the wheel on your mouse or use the sliding scale on the right of the screenAll locations have an information page embedded, just, left click on the box target.

Unfortunately Google does not have the highest resolution available in this area as they do over major population centers such as Toronto.

Never the less, you can get a good feel for the scale and scope of the area as you zoom in and out.

The average elevation in the Hudson Bay Lowlands around McFaulds Lake as you will notice, is about 160 m or 500 feet ASL ( above sea level ).

In : tools / options you easly change the scale and elevation from KM / Meters to Miles / Feet

You can then "save" the " Places" permanently in your Google Earth

Example Below; Enjoy ...Hg
