Look at the Kitco charts for gold.... over the past 5 and 10 years the population that would have benifited the most from owning gold is Americans...

When you look at the price increases in gold relative to other currencies some striking info is revealed... The long charts tell the story



The relative price increases over time come up in the left and right hand corners with reference to the price in US dollars...
