To all those who would like to hold bullion. Consider this mutual fund. It is the only one of its kind. Every dollar invested is converted into equal $ amounts of gold, silver & platinum. The bullion is stored at BNS in Toronto. The MER is a bit high but that is because they have to pay storage and insurance. I put in $15,000 last month and wish I had waited until today, but in 6 months I will still be very happy once the US$ tanks.

note that you can play in either CDN or US$ and you can put either in your RRSP or cash account but I don't recommend the US for RRSP because when you sell you can't get US$ ( I thought I'd do this to buy property)
