What would be intersting and we can guestimate all we want, will probably never know for sure is the production costs of Chromium from South Africa by both Xstrata and Samancor. They have reserves that could last years and years but the debate going on at the higher levels have more to do with production cost and bringing it to market costs than reserves. If we can produce it at a lower cost, we will be Chromium king. If not, than we will not see our Chromium out of the ground for a long time. However, judging by grade and intercepts, we should have no problem being competitive and even maybe be the dominating player in this domain. One advantage is the deep water ports we have in Thunderbay and the distance to the US market favors us as well.

Cheers,

Glorieux
