It is my hunch that NOT will not split WF for some time. Personally I wish they would and still hope that they will, but NOT has much land to explore and it is quite possible that they will, as others have noted, use WF to fund exploration in unproven tracts though they may sell chunks of proven DE along the way to a Major. It strikes me that this would maintain the company in a strong position well after major takeover.
