Hey Coswil......in reference to your observation below,

I don't have the original Mungal statement, but if memory serves me well, he was making the point that for a deposit as rich as E1, this meant that an enormous amount of 'magma' had to have passed thru.....not that the magma itself was high grade, in other words the magma could have been medium or low grade.....and got deposited at E1 adding up to high grade over time.
This of course doesn't mean that there is or isn't a motherload.....if there is, the grade just might not be up to E1 richness.
