Doubt they'll collect any damages but sure puts a sock in this guy's mouth.

This also points up some potential liability for those unkindly labeled 'puimpers' because if someone loses a large sum of money as a result of postings and can prove they were mislead by poster with ulterior motive in posting misleading information (for example they are selling while 'pumping') they could be justified.

IMHO this won't happen because in Canada the plaintiff would have to pay a lawyer to initiate the lawsuit and collecting on any judgement probably unlikely. Same thing in reverse if you sell because of some 'basher', you might have a case but collecting difficult and expensive.

If someone is totally out of line the only one in a position to put a stop to it would be Noront and they have their plate full working to make us all a lot of money.
