Your broker is right, I do the same thing. Never order "Buy" 10K - 20K I always do it in 3-4 cuts. If I bid 20K the message I am sending is "there is lot of interest-lets raise the ask", by biting 3K at time I get in faster at my price. I am with inv. edge and they charge one commission on all trades I make in the same day with the same company.vila
