This is an interesting approach as it clearly undervalues the current resources at today's metals prices. They are using $650.00/oz for gold when we are currently around $935.00/oz, and $1250/0z for platinum when it is currently over $2000.00/oz etc.
The recent boom in metals prices and the strong liklihod that it will continue is simply not reflected in this estimate.
Which means that this is worth approximately 1/3 more than currently set out.
But that's not the good news.
The good news, imho, is that all of this has taken less than a year from discovery to resources estimate and we are still very much at the beginning of this road. This is a fantastic start and one that , despite all the whining about delays, has happened with lightening speed.
This takes us for looking at drill cores to knowing we have a mineable resource. For one, I find that pretty exciting.
With respect to certain posters (Glorieux I'm looking at you) there is nothing dissapointing about this first estimate. The exploration program will now continue to deliniate and expand Eagle One as well as the other occurances, both at depth and strike.
Well worth waking up for. May stay up until the halt is lifted.
On second thought...
