Once again Mucker, I don't know where you get your information from. If a driller or geologist was going to take a vacation, it would be in April or May. Consider that July is one of the most attractive months to do what they do, with there being 20+ hours of daylight where they are. Despite the blackflies, now is when they do their best work.
