I kind of object to your post since it is an invitation to bashers, first time I've ever really objected to 'bashers' but there it is.

Today, so far, we see low volume of asks which are most likely the result of margin with maybe assisted by a bit of manipulation. So of course the market price is forced down.

The brokerage houses selling to cover margin aren't totally stupid and will try to hold to see if buyers come in to take what they'd like to sell. It's very good indeed not to see 100,000 shares on the ask which could indicate a 'motivated' seller.

The price will go down as far as it can be pushed until enough buyers come to the party for bargain priced shares and clear out any margined shares now on offer.
