That is a good point.

One exception I know of is if someone wants to drive the price down, like Anon, he steadily dumps 100,000 shares in at a price lower then the currently running price of $3.09 and walks the price down to say $2.90

Because, even though people will pay up to a certain price at a certain time, they will always pay less if they can.

His hope is to influence other would be buyers to back off now that they see the price dropping and cause a cascading effect, with his continued help.
