Hey old buddy. You do have a caustic way about you sometimes. You don't agree with me? No problemo! Thank God, we have a free country here.
For the record, in my post yesterday, I, in no way, was advocating the use of margin. I agree that margin is a tool that should be used with great care, but I do not agree that it hurts the share price when used prudently. I was simply commenting on the fact that many posters have mentioned on this board, their investment decisions regarding the source of their investment funds. In my opinion, our stock is grossly undervalued, as the result of manipulation. (BTW, you may be surprised at the people who share this belief) These investors may have been foolhardy, but I stand by my comment that I admire their commitment, and I would rather see them succeed, then let the pros have their way with us.
"whinning" you say? For your information, a Normal Course Issuer Bid is a legitimate corporate action available to a company when they believe their share price is undervalued. It is a strategy that has been implemented by several companies, including the Royal Bank of Canada.
Also, if you think I was, in any way, criticizing Richard or Noront management, take a deep breath and go back and read the first paragraph of that post.
All the best to you, Dony.
