Good points John. I believe based on other published theories that the conduit or connection may also run northeast from Eagle Two, along the FNC border, and link up with Eagle one.
One thing about the northwest direction from Eagle Two is that, if true, this direction is Noront Land, not Probe's, as you can see from the sketch below. The white area is approximate location of Probe's claims.
For disclosure: I own a little bit of PRB and FNC and a barrel full on NOT.
