I can't beleive that I've posted twice in one day. Once this morning and now.
Thoughtout the day, there has been several post concerning the CEO etc. I actually replied to one earlier this morning. I beleive it was Bentonstock that made an excellent summation on the CEO/IR duties and expectations. great post too.....
As for succession planning. Any corporation big or small will engage this process. For those that don't know what succession planning is, it's simply planning for the future human resources. IE: who'll run the company, what expertise do we need today , tommorrow, and five years from now. Who best to execute short, medium and long term strategies etc. Somewhat of crystal ball gazing scenario really. This process is based upon current expectations of the management and where "they see" things going. Who best to deal with the upcoming issues, of which, there will be many with Noront.
My take on all these changes is nothing short of spectacular. Remember, NOT is still a tier 2 jr exploration company, however was very successful in recruiting excellent talent. What does that tell you? I mentioned in a previous post that bringing people on to projects is seldom never about money. Its about credibiltiy, pride, self recognition and off course success. Do you think for a moment that NOT just posted an ad in Toronto Star and these people appeared? This group of talent came on board , after they did DD themselves. Well educated, strategic thinking and Experience in the field" This is one piece of a very large puzzle on the HR side. I beielive we will see more to come.
Have a great weekend...Fast
