NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
I don't really post all that often , however, I would have to agree on a "macro" level that replacing or bringing in a new leader may be the short term answer to a short term drought in the share price. Could NOT be promoted more effectively by a new CEO? Likely, yes, however, on short term basis only. Remember, no CEO can create wealth in the ground if the ground doesn"t have the resource. We may not see a new CEO until such time the resource is proven to a larger extent than what it is today.
CEO's don't care about money (thier pay) as much as they care about thier creditibilty. Creditibilty is what gets them the next job in thier careers. To bring in a new CEO, rallying contacts for money promotion etc, to produce mediocre results (if mediorce results do in fact exist in the ROF), could be viewed as detrimental.
We may very well see this happen in the future as this company grows into something other than what it is today. But to "knee jerk" the CEO today, IMHO, is not the answer.
In all likelyhood, NOT will eventually have a new CEO. We've already started to see changing of guard of the mangement ranks. These were very strategic and calculated moves on behalf of the company.
My entry point in NOT is much higher than the current share price, however, as much as I would like to see a higher SP, I have to agree thus far that recent moves were excellent. Any thing that is built to stand for a considerable amount of time starts with a strong foundation.
My patience has not worn thin, nor I'm I disapointed with current results. could the SP be higher, yes. I think it was "Mark Twain" that said, "patiences is the strongest form of action one can take"
This will serve everyone well if followed.
