I think its time that everybody sat back, had a cool one or two and gave some real thought to the above.
As investors, we always expect to be treated better than the average person who has not made the commitment that we shareholders have made, i.e. buying a piece of the company. However, the securities regulations only provide us with really only one extra “perk”, voting rights, and the latter depends on the class of stock purchased.
The company, because it is listed on the TSV, must comply with their rules and regulations to be able to be listed. It is the law in Ontario. Noront has to my knowledge, complied with those. However, the Rs &Rs still leave a lot of discretion to the individual company as to what is material and when/how to release the information in a fashion which does not give any party an unfair advantage. If any member of this forum expects to receive or be made privy to any confidential information from a request made by Agoracom or anybody which has not been made public to everybody, then you are dreaming in spades. Some of Noront’s comments were testy as one member suggested. I'm confident that Noront management hates to disappoint supporters with mediocre results, especially the majority of members of this forum who have consistently demonstrated all kinds of support and faith in Noront and their management. However, lets get over it. The price of Ni and Cu are no screaming hell these days. Look at what’s been happening to FNX for the last few weeks! The chromite concentrations are interesting, but only interesting at this point. Anybody who attaches a $value to it has got to be nuts in my opinion.
I am half way through the “Big Score”. Great reading for a geologist, and especially for me as I personally know several of the “characters”. The VSE and its promoters were sure taken to task, but don’t forget the VSE morphed into the TSV.
This forum is paid for by NORONT. Why?-more exposure, generate open discussion, encourage debate and attract new investors-good motives. Its good as long as no one person or group attempts to control the flow of information or “restrict membership”. It was not designed as a “closed shop” with shop stewards. The “market” will determine a price for the stock, not this forum.
Respectfully yours
