AGREE, the volume is so small that the price or fluctuations mean nothing to longs.

My guess is that most of the cheap buying is going on by forum members scraping up whatever cash they can to add a bit more to position. Nobody is grabbing a lot of shares at these prices and won't unless it's by manipulation to take out poor guys/girls with stop losses.
