I hear your frustration!

This is why they recommend having a geologist buddy when you invest in mining stocks.

The problem is that legal language is important, and they can't reduce it without causing further misunderstanding.

Any simplification means leading the reader to a conclusion. Each reader must make his own conclusion. For instance, if we say ATM 3 is 'close to" ATM4 what does that mean? So instead they say something seemingly over complicated but exact such as "ATM 3 is 2.37 km NNW of ..."

That's my take.
