When Noront first hit big in late August 2007 the management team, particularily Richard Nemis, could not contain themselves with what they had found. Of course a new, unexpected discovery of this magnitude would make any speculator envious. With Richard he had to watch it all in the 90's with Diamond Fields. So his excitement must have been even greater than the norm.

We've had a lot of news being excellent, good and average. The last report was probably borderline good and no excellent as many had hoped. Notwithstanding, my only real issue comes from management silence. I know they are busy, but its time to bring some of this into perspective, to tell the non-geolist what is really coming to fruitation. Still we need to wait I guess for the required government reports, but patience can hurt a stocks price dearly if nothing is done to rally the troops (investors).

There are mistakes made by some who come into this play, those being the quick buck syndrome. Once you think the play is going to keep doubling up, you will likely be burned in the short term. If you have invested for a period of a year or more then you will likely be rewarded. My question really comes from the experience of reading this forum and the day to day fluctuations in the mood of investors here. The longs are calm, collected and have a plan. The short term blips do little to affect their long term aims. As we all know...long only really means that we want the stock price to appreciate. We normally figure if we get in early enough that it will take a "long" time to do this. You can be in the play for 3 months and still be long, but really I think most people here define it as playing the stock over the very long term (say 2 to 5 years). That said, the mood seems to be more dreary and frustration shows as the patience dwindles for those whose idea of long totals a holding of under 6 months to a year.

I think at this point in time Richard needs to make an announcement indicating his plan...his dream...his company's status with respect to the Ring of Fire and Windfall drilling and ramping programs. Lets hear from the big guy. Lets get something out to keep those with the emotional roller coaster frayed nerve endings back in the fold and confident in the company moving forward. I don't for an instance think this will be anything but a major play. I don't like to dream at all really. I like reality. As such RN would likely feed my confidence with a reality check speech, mixed with a bit of the dream.
