With the Spider strike of chromite to the northeast, and Eagle2's results, with Eagle1 in the middle, we now likely have a 4 to 6 km strike length of chrome with proven and likely PGEs. This is the type and size of complex that companies like Vale Inco and Xstrata would be looking for.
Hole 17 has 49 metres @39% (not proven true widths yet) and exceeds grades currently being mined. Compare layer thickness with Stillwater to gain some understanding of what we have here. From the news release.......
"Management believes that the recent drill hole results, with the presence of visible copper - nickel sulphide and chromite mineralization being observed by the geologists on site is very encouraging, and could be of significant importance for Noront"
Noront, due to the high level of scrutiny, had imposed a blackout on themselves until the information in yesterday's NRs was released into the public domain. There are certain corporate items that have been held back until this news was out. Just a guess on my part, but perhaps a spinoff is coming, an important move in my opinion.
Finally, back to nickel and copper, look at hole #40 to see where we are at.
To sum up, there was a willingness to take considerable time with me to explain the significance of the chromite results, and I could tell they would love to have told me more, but they can't. Going by the tone, and the inferences, however, I believe this latest news is excellent. The fact that the market isn't showing this is likely because the analysts have not come to understand this yet.
I am sorry I didn't ask about some of the other topics, as I felt they had given me more than my share of their time already. If I remember anything else, I will post it.
Remember what Richard told Deisel93!
