While we wait for assays there is no doubt in my mind that the key geologists in the ROF program have been going through them with a fine tooth comb to see what impact they have on model they have been drilling. As we have seen in E1 mineralization is never homogeneous and trying to chase a deposit without assays would be an added complexity.
While its disconcerting for us to wait for results it must have driven the geologist on site absolutely NUTS! Even if they are seeing mineralization in every drill hole there gets to be a point where you need confirmation by assays to justify what you are doing. You can guesstimate visually for Ni and Cu but the PGMs and Au (in the sulphides) can't be seen hence the need for the assays.
Now that NOT has the assays keep a close eye on where the 2nd drill is working and where the third drill is deployed. That should give us a good indication of what they have found and where the optimal place to spend their drill dollars are.
Still waiting (im)patiently for the E2 assays.
