So I went back and forth either trying to get Richard or Neil and finally got Richard.
I asked him why we've had such delays in the assay reports. He said they are being done in batches and therefore take more time to deal with. He said they are currently working on a number of reports which are taking a good deal of time. I asked if there was a corporate reason (positioning for impact etc.) for the delays in the reports and at first he didn't relate to my question but then said that said it was not the case. I asked why we haven't received assays from the new lab as we've had cores with them for while and he said he didn't know. He said that cores are also not sent out immediately but also in batches. He said delivery to labs is a challenge as they are not sent out immediately. He did say that in June we should start getting reports on assays every two weeks from Act Labs. He expressed that he was pleased with how exploration was going but that it is a difficult process finding employees including geos and senior management. He spoke of his hiring people at all levels and sounded very much in control of what is going on. Contrary to the beliefs of some on this board, he appears to be very much at the helm of this boat. I'll speak of where he is less in control in a moment. I asked him about the state of the sp and he says we don't follow it or any trading patterns one might associate with it. He said that was IBK and JPM's job to inform them of any such activities. And now for those two entities. He said he is quite pleased with IBK and as for JPM..... pm me..... but I'll be leaving town shortly. He expects that JPM will start to do more of what they are expected to do when further results come out. (To me it seems they are playing it safe and I'm sure some of you believe that's not all that they are playing at......). JPM is supposed to get the word out but there is a "sense" that they could be doing more in this regard.
I still didn't feel like my question about delays was answered but then I'm not there on the inside to know how things are in the office. R.N. said he wished he could tell me more and as I thanked him for his time, there was a pause, and then he said ......."keep your eye out." I suspect something this week but who knows eh? We've been saying this for weeks. I know he's a bit frustrated with the challenges but he says we'll have to be patient just like they have to be. If I remember anything else I'll post. Sorry for the delay, I got called away.
