Samol.....sorry to bust your bubble...and I'm not sure if anyone has addressed this already....but....Lifetime capital gains deduction does not apply to publicly traded shares anymore....changed in 1994...in that year you could make an election to apply capital gains up to that year

There is still capital gains deductions which apply to qualified small business corporation shares and qualified farm property....that's it I believe....and NOT shares are not qualified small business corporation shares, they are publicly traded shares.
