Hi yixter,

try google and wikipedia and use Escondida (largest open pit copper mine in the world, owners: BHP 57,5% / RIO 30% / JECO 10% / IFC 2,5%).

Escondidas average ore grade during the 2006 calendar year was 1.59% of copper.

Compare that to Eagle1 grades and you get the picture (ok, ok, tonnage is a little bit different).

Alternatively search for :

Codelco (one of the largest copper producers, mines: El Abra, Enami) ,

Anglo American (mines: Collahuasi, Disputada, Mantos Blancos) ,

Antofagsta (mines: Los Pelambres, El Tesoro, Michilla)

Freeport McMoran (mines: Candelaria)
