Hss,

Most of the lakes are free of ice around Nakina, McFaulds lake is still a couple hundred klicks, north of Nakina.

As I was coming through Nakina yesterday morning, there was about three inches of fresh snow. It is still dropping to minus 8-10 degrees Celcius at night. It hasn't been very warm during the day either.

If we get some warmer weather, I would guess the ice should be off Mcfaulds lake in another week or so.
