Infrastructure

Boatboy brings up a very valid point about governments investment in infrastructure. The automotive and aerospace industries have been assisted over the years by the Prov. of Ont. and the federal government to the tune of billions. Manufacturing industries are struggling because they lost the competitive edge the low canadian dollar once provided. Noront and the ROF players are (notice I said ARE) going to need road and power infrastructure to get into production. Government certainly has a role to play in opening up the north for resourse developement because such infrastructure will be to the benefit of many companies as well as the general public. Canada has many great mining communities and they all started out as moose pasture at one time. What will we call our new community? "Cashville"??
