JD,
The mentioned 15 claimblocks, coloured dark blue, in the center of the ROF adjacent to land held by Noront/Bold and KWG/Spider have all been recorded on March 13th , 2008 for 100 % in name of Goldeye (= info obtained MNDM):
As an example:
| ||||||||
|
Claim Holders | |||||
Recorded Holder(s) Percentage
GOLDEYE EXPLORATIONS LIMITED ( 100.00 %) |
The claimblocks adjacent to or in the vicinity of the McNugget property are recorded in name of the JV Goldeye/Tribute, as you can see below:
| ||||||||
|
Claim Holders | |||||
Recorded Holder(s) Percentage
GOLDEYE EXPLORATIONS LIMITED ( 50.00 %)
TRIBUTE MINERALS INC. ( 50.00 %) |
In the joint Goldeye/Tribute news releases of Nov. 20, 2007 (staking of land adjacent to the McNugget property), Jan. 30, 2008 (increased staking in that same area) and Feb. 27, 2008 (airborne VTEM survey on this land package adjacent to and in the vicinity of the MacNugget property), there was no mention of additional JV-staking in the center of the ROF, although that the aformentioned 15 claimblocks were staked that same day, February 17th.
Therefore, and based solely on this info I decided to add the 15 recent claimblocks only in the name of Goldeye, until further news.
However, and thanks to your question, I see now that in their most recent NR dated May 1, 2008 (excerpt below) they briefly mentioned the 15 claimblocks.
“Tribute Minerals Inc. (TSX-X: TBM) and Goldeye Explorations Limited (TSX-V: GGY) are pleased to jointly announce that they have received the interpretation of the VTEM airborne geophysical data and that positive targets have been outlined. The companies are also pleased to report that further ground has been staked in the region.
Upon reviewing the EM conductors, the interpretation shows two very good magmatic sulphide targets and two excellent volcanogenic massive sulphide targets. The data also identified several other conductors which exhibit geophysical characteristics that require follow-up with more detailed ground geophysics….…Some of the new claim blocks have been staked adjacent to land held by Noront and KWG/Spider. Total land holdings in the James Bay lowlands, McFaulds Lake, ‘Ring of Fire’ now total 17,792 hectares.
The Joint Venture is selecting the top priority targets for ground geophysical surveying in order to prepare these projects for drilling. Further claims may be staked in the ‘Ring of Fire’ based on the continued interpretation of geophysics and ongoing data acquisition.
So John, I think it is clear now that all the land staked by Goldeye and Tribute in McFaulds is 100 % in name of their JV partnership. The map will be corrected accordingly. Again, thanks for keeping a keen eye on things – Helium
