I am not a geologist but out of curiosity, I did some digging on the net about Bushveld. From a laymens perspective, the similarities of Bushveld to NOT DE2 and recent SPQ results are remarkable. Bushveld has two huge areas that involve hundreds of kilometers of mineralization. One called the "Merensky Reef" has PGE's and PGM's and associated gold, copper and nickel. The other called "UG2" has chromitite bands with PGM's and PGE's but no nickel copper and gold. The grades of PGE's in "UG2" are double those in Merensky Reef". DE2 and SPQ appear to be very much like UG2 but do have Nickel in some form. If the geological process is the same in McFaulds as in Bushveld, it would suggest that with the Chromitite present, the PGE's will be higher grade as well. THe abundance of anomalies , the size of them and the the fact they are in a string making up the ring of fire is of particular interest. When you look at the shape of the Bushveld area, it is not such a stretch to see how there is a resemblance to the ROF area. Other companies have staked all the ground around the center and it makes you wonder whether these stakers think the igneous rock that makes up the canadian shield in Mcfaulds all originated from the same cracks in the earths crust. It is possible that as stated before, this could be a major PGE mining area. Look forward to the assay reports. These are my thoughts, and can certainly be subject to review. The Bushveld deposits were always considered unique, maybe we will make them a little less unique .
