I'll also put a question to the resident geologists on the NOT board --- how much significance should we place in the fact that the Northern Shield is, as the presentation claims, "the largest known mafic-ultramafic intrusion in the [JBL] area" (comparable in size to the Sudbury complex). Again, no training whatsoever in geology, but the regional map shows the relatve size of Highbank Lake area in relation to NOT's Eagle One (next to last map).
