Noront were very carefull to explain that the lab failed to properly assay certain 'test' samples that were included in total run of samples as a 'Quality Control' procedure. Had the lab properly done their analysis and passed Quality Control then Noront would have released the results.

Nothing in this statement can be twisted to indicate poor results. The results could have been too high for that matter. What matters is that whatever was reported can't be released as they have to be considered incorrect.
