Good morning, Don and thanks for the question. The answer is simple.
The first response (April 23rd) came from our community director who is in charge of our 700+ non-client HUBS. Over this broad range of HUBS, you can get some people posting from the same IP that are two different people, or the same person with two different aliases. Our system allows him to analyze pretty quickly if the related handles are engaging in clandestine activity. If they are (i.e. vote rigging, bashing, etc.) all handles are terminated without notice. If not, he'll accomodate and watch for any future activity that falls outside of pre-determinded "Deltas".
The second response (April 24) came from your main Noront admin who, like all client HUB admins, is not as lenient and tends to nuke multiple aliases quickly. This is especially true on the Noront HUB where multiple aliases are always trying to manipulate votes, bash etc. As such, he's pretty much at the point of automatically terminating multiple aliases because they are rarely of an innocent nature.
Regards,
George
