Your post does not aggravate me for one, and is certainly welcome. But it does illustrate the common failure of smaller investors in several areas.
1) Do not bet the farm on one play, sector, company or management. To do so prevents any enjoyment of investing activity, because nothing goes straight up. In the extreme, it induces bouts of panic or guilt when things slip.
2) Ironically, in some ways opposing 1), you must still trust your overall judgement after looking at all the factors;and
3)Only invest in managements that you believe are competent, motivated and honest. That is, only those who live with the same risks you take, and who have the little guys interests well in mind.
This management get all thumbs up in my view for looking after our interests. But, a lot of small capital, non-diversified investors need to think hard about 1) and 2) and not expect management to somehow compensate. Good luck as well to all of us !
