I agree that if a major was to make an open and public bid for NOT the price would go up, but my concern is buy how much. For example; if a major has already calculated that NOT's true buy out value today is worth say 13.50(this is of course with information we may not even know). So they start the offer at $8 sure there may be some speculation and the price may jump to $10-12 maybe even $15. If another major is not as convinced then we are going to get sold. This of course would be a calculated risk by a major as the $15/share value hasn't been proven to date. But what the NOT management team and the majors own Geo's know/or at least believe, is that based on the geology proven to date, there will be a lot more resource.
