Agreed it was indeed an ill advised comment. Silly really because even if another explorer finds a wonderfully rich and large deposit it can't detract from what Noront has already found and is proceeding to define in detail.

No matter what transpires over the next few years of exploration Noront will maintain a highly valued position. In my opinion Noront with their large land position is more likely than not to be the one who finds any big fish lurking in the 'Ring of Fire'.
