You can't overestimate what John has clearly stated.

The fact is that a number of incredibly rich deposits where found near surface and only later found to continue down, down, down. Down hole geophysics can only tell the geologists so much and then it's drill as far as you can afford while you're in mineralization.

So far Noront and another player have tested 'targets' and not found what surface tests would have indicated. It's a puzzel the geologists are working on and it just might be that it's a much larger deep ore body causing the readings.

One can only label these pending things 'Blue Sky' until they are found and proven up. You can bet that at the first proof Nemis will be putting up the price to buy in.

Sudbury basin after what, 100 years, is still being explored and more economic mineralizating being proved up. With virgin territory the chances of Noront and other players not doing the same seems pretty slim.
