Exactly - many studies show that from initial exploration to actual mine completion is 10 years!  For those newbies who don't know this, they cannot appreciate the extremely wonderful position we are presently in.  The old, big mines are drying up!  Their production is getting smaller every year, and their efforts to find replacement minerals are getting desperate.  This is why we don't need to wait 18 months (as some have suggested) to see a huge increase in the price of our stock.  Vale's (CVRD - Companie Vale do Rio Doce) and Norilsk's recent staking frenzies in the Ring of Fire area are their acknowledgment that we "have the goods", and that they know that so well, that they simply want to reduce the price they are going to pay us my staking up other ground in the area for their own.
